On May 29th, Dr. Liu Shijin, Vice President of DRC, met with a delegation headed by Mr. Richard Herd from Economics Department of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Mr. Liu made a brief introduction to the macroeconomic situation in China. Among those attended the meeting were Mr. Feng Fei, Director General of DRC Research Department of Industrial Economy; Mr. Ge Yanfeng, Deputy Director General of Research Department of Social Development; Mme. Zhang Chenghui, Deputy Director General of DRC Research Institute of Finance; Mr. Zhang Wenkui, Deputy Director General of DRC’s Enterprise Research Institute; and Mr. Zhou Hongchun, Senior Research Fellow of Research Department of Social Development. They exchanged views with the guests on the issues of energy, medical care reform, financial reform, SOE reform and water resource management. Ms. Jiang Xiheng, Division Director and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of International Cooperation Department of DRC, were present at the meeting.
