On May 23rd, DRC and Tokyo Club Foundation co-organized a workshop on Sovereign Funds Governance. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of the International Cooperation Department and Mme. Zhang Chenghui, Deputy Director of the Institute of Finance co-hosted the meeting. Mr. Hou Yunchun, DRC Vice President addressed the opening ceremony. Dr. Ba Shusong, Deputy Director of the Institute of Finance, leaders and experts from Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Foreign Exchange, National Council for Social Security Fund, and fund corporations made presentations in the meeting. Mr. Yasuyuki Fuchita, Senior Managing Director of Nomura Institute of Capital Market Research summarized the meeting. Heated and straight forward discussion was held on sovereign funds management and investment governance, new developments of sovereign funds and pension fund management.
