On August 28, DRC Vice President Liu Shijin met with Mr. Torben Nielsen, Vice Governor of Danish Central Bank. Dr. Liu briefed on China’s current economic situation and the policies and measures the Chinese government has taken to combat the global financial crisis. He also exchanged views with the guests on issues such as the development of China’s financial sector, urbanization, as well as the economic recovery in Europe. Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, and Mr. Wu Zhenyu, Division Director of DRC’s General Office, were present at the meeting.
