On August 2, Mr. Zhang Yutai, President of DRC, met with Mr. Lionel Stoleru, former Secretary of State for Economic Planning of France. The two sides discussed the topics covering the world financial crisis, trade imbalance, China’s role in the global economy and Sino-French economic cooperation. Mr. Herve Ladsous, French Ambassador to China, Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, Dr. Zhang Xiaoji and Ms. Zhang Qi, senior research fellows from Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of International Cooperation Department, were present at the meeting.
