On September 18, Vice President Hou Yunchun met with Mr. Vincent Chriqui, Director General of The Centre d’Analyse Stratégique of France. Mr. Hou answered questions about the prospect of China’s economic development, policies on energy conservation and emission reduction, and policies in response to aging society. Both sides also exchanged views on the cooperation between the two institutions. Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department, Mr. Gong Sen and Mr. Zhou Hongchun, both Deputy Director General of the Department of Social Development and Ms. Jiang Xiheng, Division Director of the International Cooperation Department were present at the meeting.
