Long Guoqiang, director-general of the General Office of the Development Research Center of the State Council, and 10 officials visited Hunan province from October 10 to 12, 2012, to conduct field research on issues such as local enterprise overseas investment.

Research group conducts field research at Sany Group

Accompanied by Liang Zhifeng, director-general of the Economic Research Information Center of the people’s government of Hunan province, and Tang Yuwen, vice-director-general of the center, the research group held meetings with relevant departments and enterprise leaders and conducted field research in Changsha and Xiangtan.

They visited enterprises including Sany Group, Hunan China Sun, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co, and Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Group. They also attended meetings held in the Changsha Economic Development Zone, Changsha High-Tech Zone and Xiangtan City Hall.

They heard reports on overseas investment from relevant departments and enterprise leaders and learned about successful cases, experiences and solutions to the “going out” strategy.
