On March 21, President Li Wei met with Mr. Ong Ka Ting, Malaysian Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China. Mr. Li and Mr. Ong exchanged views on issues of promoting a prosperous development in China-Malaysia trade and economic relations. To upgrade the quality of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, both sides agreed on developing joint studies between the think tanks of both countries. Mme Sun Lanlan, Director General of the International Cooperation Department and Mr. Zhao Jinping, Deputy Director General of the Research Department of Foreign Economy Relations, were present at the meeting.
