DRC conducts research on China's logistics system for agricultural produce

A seminar to mark the beginning of research on the development of China's logistics system for agricultural produce was held in Beijing on May 21.

The research is part of a technical aid project of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and is being conducted by the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) and its International Cooperation Department.

The research team consists of experts from the US Rand Corporation and the DRC’s Institute of Market Economy.

Han Jun, vice-minister of the DRC, took part in the seminar and delivered a speech. Sun Lanlan, director-general of the International Cooperation Department of the DRC, chaired the seminar and made a closing speech.

Ren Xingzhou, director-general of the Institute of Market Economy, and Wang Wei, vice-director-general of the institute, also addressed the meeting.

Another 40 people from the ADB, the Rand Corporation and other national departments were also present at the meeting.
