The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) held its 7th academic seminar of this year in Beijing on June 5, which focused the development and growth prospects of China's automobile market.
Wang Qing, a research fellow at the DRC's Institute of Market Economy, delivered a speech about the middle- to long-term prospects of China's automobile demands.
Wang based his predictions on the experiences of Japan, the United States and South Korea about the growth in automobile demands and international and regional statistics. More than 20 officials and researchers from the DRC took part in the event.
