Two training courses, sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the DRC’s Institute of Public Administration and Human Resources, concluded in Beijing earlier this year.
One course, which was especially tailored for 20 officials from Cambodia’s National Employment Agency, lasted two weeks and ended on April 7. It was the first training class sponsored by the DRC specifically for one country.
Nineteen officials and research fellows from Asia, Africa, and Europe took part in the other course - which lasted three weeks and ended on June 4. They discussed China’s economic and social development in the first part of the year.
The participants in the two training courses visited Tianjin, Chengdu and Changshu and met with local government officials to learn more about China's reform and opening-up.
The participants said they have learnt a lot from China's experience.
