Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Okamoto Iwao, president of the Japan-China Economic Association (JCEA), on August 2.

Both sides exchanged their views on China's economic development as well as mid- and long-term development strategies and trends.

Sun Lanlan, director-general of the International Cooperation Department, and Zhao Jinping, vice-director-general of the Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, took part in the meeting.
