The Institute of Market Economy held a seminar at the Development Research Center of the State Council on July 24 on the construction of the Bohai Rim commercial area.

Ren Xingzhou, director-general of the institute, chaired the seminar, and representatives from the commerce departments of Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao, Liaoning, Shandong and Hebei - as well as officials from the Department of Market System Development at the Ministry of Commerce – also attended the seminar.
