Gong Sen, vice-director-general of the Research Department of Social Development, led a delegation to the city of Wuchang, Heilongjiang province, on Aug 17 - 22, for a look at its people's livelihoods, integration, and sustainable development through a visit to families in distress, village health centers, and talks with grassroots cadres, teachers and doctors.

The delegation also met with government departments and enterprise representatives to discuss various topics, such as education, medical and health services, Aug 22 and 23.
