The Almanac of China's Economy, launched in 1981, is an annual publication financed by the State Council Development Research Center. This publication records the changes in China's economy.
Its editorial board consists of government officials - at the national, provincial, and municipal levels - and prominent economists, and its editors-in-chief are top officials of the DRC.
The Almanac includes the major economic literature of the Chinese government, concerning the national economic development and the development of enterprises and the country's various regions, as well as major advances in the study of economic theories.
