Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council, met with Mr Stamley Loh, Singapore's ambassador to China, on Oct 14. During the meeting, Li gave a brief introduction on China's macro-economic conditions and his thoughts on China's reforms.

The two also exchanged ideas on the real estate market and regional economic cooperation.

Yu Bin, director-general of DRC's Department of Macroeconomic Research, Lan Weiban, vice-director-general of DRC's International Cooperation Department, Tao Pingsheng, associate research fellow of the DRC's General Office, and Mr Lui Hai Tan, economic counselor of the Singapore Embassy, were present at the meeting.
