Abstract

The New Economic Zone on Qingdao's West Coast, approved by the State Council in January 2011, is a key construction area and a first-class ocean industry cluster area. Pushing forward its development is significant to the settlement of the national overall strategy for land and sea, and critical to the development of China into a strong maritime state.
