Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, former president of Chile, on June 17, when he was able to explain China's current reform and development situation.

Taking part in the meeting were Peng Keyu, vice-president of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, Hou Yongzhi, director-general of DRC's Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, and Lan Weiban, vice-director-general of International Cooperation Department of the DRC.
