Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) met with James McGann, director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania, US on June 23, where he explained China's approach to think tank development and the DRC's related findings and programs, and discussed the current situation and challenges of think tanks.

Taking part in the meeting were the DRC's Cheng Guoqiang, head of International Cooperation, and Wang Peiheng, director-general, and Li Lan, vice-director-general of the Public Administration and Human Resources Institute.
