The challenges facing China's fund industry concentrate on the difficulties in selling and operation of the management enterprises. This paper analyzes the main factors constraining the development of the fund industry, stressing that changes are taking place in this industry in terms of the patterns, the financing management market is undergoing severer competition, the closed-end fund is turned into open-end fund which could hit the market; and the tax policies need to be improved.
