Abstract:

Corporate governance in New Zealand rests on Corporate Law and relevant special laws. The framework of enterprise management by the government follows the mechanism of "dual ownership" with clear targets for the enterprise. "Report on Enterprise Targets" is an important measure for supervision. Directors with shareholding and responsible directors are involved in enterprise business planning, report making and supervision. The corporate governance has a complete annual supervision process. The appointment of board members is systemized. The intermediary agency CCMAU is responsible for assessment, supervision and consultation.
