Abstract:　

As one of the key factors to economic development, human capital has very important bearing on the regional harmonious development. The paper puts into perspective the role of human capital in regional harmonious development in a general sense, then proceeds to analyze the impact of human capital stock in China's eastern, central and western areas on the regional harmonious economic development, and concludes by offering some policy proposals for developing and rationally allocating human capital to promote the regional harmonious economic development.
