The present farmland system has not really solved the issue of relations between farmers and farmland. The deprivation of farmers' land and the breach upon farmers’ rights and benefits connected with land have become an obvious reflection of infringement of farmers’ interests. During the new development stage, it is necessary to understand and handle well the relations between farmers and farmland and reaffirm the legal status of farmers as land masters in the light of new situation and changing economic relations as well as the relation between land value and farmers' interests.
