At the Fudan Premium Management Fund awards for 2014, at the University of Chinese Academy of Science, in Beijing, on Nov 29, getting the "Outstanding Contribution Award" for achievements in public management studies was Li Shantong, of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)'s Development Strategy and Regional Economy Dept, along with Prof Ma Jun, of Sun Yat-sen University's School of Government, and Zhang Linxiu, a researcher of Chinese Academy of Sciences' Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy.
The Fudan Premium Management Fund was established in September 2005, with sponsorship from Li Lanqing, a former member of the Party's Politburo Standing Committee, who donated his profits from book sales as a way of rewarding management personnel who contributed to Chinese management and for theoretical and practical achievements. The Fund managers have been giving the award since 2006 for management science and engineering, business administration and public management, to 25 scholars and others for outstanding achievements.
