President Li Wei met with former Spanish foreign minister Miguel Angel Moratinos on Jan 16. The two sides exchanged views on international political and economic situations, smart cities, urbanization in China as well as its Belt and Road initiative and vowed to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Also at the meeting were Cheng Guoqiang, director-general of the DRC's International Cooperation Department, and Lu Wei, director-general of the Department of Techno-Economy.
