Research Report No 43, 2015 (Total 4728)

Abstract:

The promotion of logistics service innovation, technology innovation, organizational innovation and mode innovation plays a key supporting role in the transition of economic development pattern and innovation-driven enforcement for China. China is witnessing a critical stage of development of logistics innovation at present. With well-developed infrastructure, the adjustment of production and consumption layout and active technical innovation, China is facing favorable opportunities for active innovation development. Nevertheless, in the course of logistics innovation development, there are certain institutional impediments or bottlenecks restraining a swift and further development of logistics innovation, including the non-transparent access supervision system, imperfect standard system, inappropriate tax system and incomplete innovation investment system. Reforms must be accelerated in the fields such as supervision, finance, tax, standard and openness in the future, to build a more favorable system environment, adopt more policy incentives and further activate and release the logistics innovation vigor.
