Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Chad Holiday, Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell, on Sept 14 in Beijing. They discussed the world's economic situation, enterprise participation in the Belt and Road Initiative, and the next moves in cooperation between the DRC and the Royal Dutch Shell group.

Joining the meeting were Cheng Guoqiang, Director-General of DRC's International Cooperation Department, and Shi Yaodong, Vice-Director-General of DRC's Industrial Economy Research Department.
