Wang Yiming, Vice-President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, led by its Vice-Chairman, Walter Dias, on Oct 27, in Beijing, where they spoke about the "new normal" in China's economy, the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), the Belt and Road Initiative, and Hong Kong's role in these.

Also taking part in the meeting were Chen Changsheng, vice-director-general of the Research Center's Macroeconomic Research Department, and other research fellows Liu Peilin, Zhang Qi, Yu Jun, Lan Zongmin, and Ma Lei.
