A delegation from the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) led by its Vice-President Zhang Laiming surveyed the health industry in Hunan province, in South Central China, on Jan 18-20.

Zhang Laiming met with Li Youzhi, vice-governor of Hunan province.

The delegation made field surveys at Changsha National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Sansure Biotech Inc. and Hunan Guangxiu Hospital and had symposiums. Some local officials and business leaders also attended the symposiums.

Joining the survey were DRC research fellows including Cheng Guoqiang, Zhang Liang, Zhang Hongfei and Zhang He.
