Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), led a survey group to Daming county and Zanhuang county, Hebei Province from April 6 to 9.

The survey group studied poverty alleviation work in these areas. Zhao Kezhi, party secretary of Hebei province, and Zhang Qingwei, governor of Hebei province, hosted the group. On April 7, they surveyed conditions in cottage industries and e-commerce poverty alleviation in Zhangji township, farms in Jiuzhi township, poor families in Dajie township, and other poverty alleviation projects and businesses. On April 8, the group held a poverty alleviation work forum in Daming township with officials from Hebei province. On April 9, they went to Zanhuang county in Shijiazhuang city to visit an “Internet+” incubator base, a technology demonstration park, and a local middle school.

Other officials also took part in the survey.
