The 34th Sino-Japan Economics Knowledge Exchange held in Xi’an

The 34th Sino-Japan Economics Knowledge Exchange was held in Xi’an from April 21 to 22.

Vice Premier Wang Yang sent a letter of congratulations and emphasized the significance of the conference in strengthening the friendship between the Chinese and Japanese people.

DRC president Li Wei and Toshihiko Fukui, former president of the Bank of Japan and chairman of the Canon Institute for Global Studies, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

The conference consisted of sections devoted to global economic development and policies, Sino-Japan economic cooperation, and innovation & structural reform. More than 100 people from government, academic institutions, and business attended the event.

Other officials also took part.
