Zhang Laiming, Vice-President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), hosted the 28th Academic Salon on December 1.

Jusuf Wanandi, founder of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Jakarta was invited to give a speech on Sino-Indonesian bilateral cooperation under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institute of International Studies, China Foreign Affairs University, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations and DRC’s research fellows joined the discussion.
