On Dec 8-9, a seminar on Industry 4.0 and transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry was held by the Research Department of Industrial Economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). It was hosted by Zhao Wenchang, Director-General of the department.

Yang Jianlong, Vice-Director-General of the department and DRC’s research fellows Wei Jigang, Xu Zhaoyuan, Song Zifeng, Zhou Yi and German research group members attended.
