Wang Anshun, Party secretary of DRC, led a survey group to Daming county, Hebei province from May 8 to 10. The group inspected the poverty alleviation work in Daming county.

The survey group visited hospitals, schools, enterprises, and poverty alleviation projects to examine the situations of people living in poverty.

A meeting on poverty alleviation was held at Daming county on May 10. Wang learned about the poverty alleviation work in Handan city and Daming county, and required that local governments should spare no effort in getting more people out of poverty with innovation and sustainable measures.
