1. About Us
In September 2015, President Xi Jinping announced at the UN Development Summit that “China will establish a center for international knowledge on development to research and communicate with other countries on development theories and practices suitable to their respective national conditions.” The Center for International Knowledge on Development (CIKD) is an independent non-profit institution directly affiliated with the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). It seeks to promote global sustainable development through advancing and sharing country-specific development knowledge. Its missions include: to pool Chinese and international resources to advance development studies; to undertake research on country-specific development practices and theories; to promote research and knowledge-sharing on international development issues, including the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
CIKD adopts the framework of matrix management and divides employees into groups according to functions and projects. The management is mainly based on projects. CIKD has 7 divisions, namely Division of Operations, Division of Planning and Evaluation, Division of Coordination and Partnership, Division of Development Experience and Division of Global Development, Division of Training and Communications and Division of Consulting Services. Currently, CIKD has established collaborative projects with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, DFID (UK), UNICEF, UNIDO, the World Bank, ADB, EBRD, etc.

2. Recruitment Plan
Based on the principles of openness, equality and fairness, CIKD is going to recruit 10 outstanding talents in 2017 who could devote to the production and sharing of development knowledge. Please refer to Annex I for detailed information of opening positions and corresponding qualifications.

Salaries:
The average salary is above the average level of domestic high-end think tanks; Salary scales refer to the professional ranking of international organizations; Personal salary is linked to professional ranking decided by position responsibility, professional qualification and professional competency and work performance. Details can be discussed face to face.
Welfare:
According to national regulations, CIKD pays for all employees to participate in old-age insurance, medical insurance, employment injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance, housing provident fund and occupational pension schemes.
Promotion:
CIDK has a variety of parallel channels for promotion, including professional ranking, administrative post, technical title, project management role, etc.; Employees can shift between different promotion channels after passing assessments.
