Ma Mingjie, research fellow and Vice-Director-General, Research Department of Techno-Economy, Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)
From 1991-1995, he studied industrial electric automation at Electronics Department of Dalian University of Technology and got Bachelor's Degree in engineering. From 1998-2000, he studied at School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and got Master's Degree in business administration. From 2005-2008, he studied technical economy and management at Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and got PhD Degree in management. In 2009, he attended international training course on innovation systems organized by Swedish Government Innovation Agency. In 2012, he attended a training course on economics jointly sponsored by Oxford University and Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs of China.
From 1998-2000, he worked at Beijing Jing Bao Company attached to China Nuclear Corporation. From 2010-2011, he worked as Deputy Director of Administrative Committee of Urumqi Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. From 2000-present, he has taken the posts respectively as Deputy Director and Director of First Research Office and Deputy Director-General of Research Department of Techno-Economy of DRC.
His research field covers innovation performance and economic development, innovation system and relevant policy, industrial innovation and competitive edge, innovative and entrepreneurial financing, infrastructure financing and science and technology security.
