Research fellow and director of the Circulation Research Office, Director-General Assistant of the Institute of Market Economy, Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)

Wang was born in Xi'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi province in Sep 1975. He has a master's degree in economics from Northwest University, Xi'an, and a PhD in economics from Nankai University.

Wang has been engaged in the research of market circulation, technical innovation and the automobile industry. He has participated in more than 20 key research projects at the national and provincial level.

Wang has published more than 60 papers in major media outlets and core periodicals. The books he has published or has been involved with include: Building up the Market System;China Economic Reform (Wu Jinglian ed); Wuxi's Experience: Case Study of China's Economic Transformation (Wu Jinglian ed); Expanding Consumption Demand: Tasks, Mechanisms and Policies; From Technical Catching-Up to Strategic Deployment: The New Energy Vehicle Technology Revolution and China's Countermeasures; and China's Economic Growth in the Next Ten Years (Liu Shijin ed).

2004-present: Secretary to research fellow Wu Jinglian, a renowned Chinese economist
