The event took place at Beijing's Diaoyutai State Guesthouse from March 24 to 26.
Over 800 delegates from around the world, including some of China's senior officials, global business leaders, heads of international organizations, and Chinese and foreign scholars, gathered together to discuss major development issues of the country.
The forum, with a theme of "China in the New Era", was focused on China's high-quality development, reform of the financial and taxation system, supply-side structural reform, financial policies, the all-round opening up policy, Made in China products during the high-quality development period, and innovation and the future.
Premier Li Keqiang attended the forum. He exchanged views with overseas representatives on China-US trade relations, opening markets, artificial intelligence (AI), and education.
Li Wei, head of the Development Research Center of the State Council, served as president of the forum and delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
