The fifth "DRC Chair" of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) was held on June 2. Dutch Ambassador to China Wim Geerts was invited to deliver a keynote speech themed on "Sino-European Relations and Global Challenges including Climate Change and a Changing Geopolitical Environment".
Geerts reviewed the development of bilateral relations between China and the Netherlands and expressed his views on Sino-Dutch and Sino-European relations, especially in the economy and trade, and spoke on how to deal with global challenges such as climate change and multilateral trading system reform. Geerts expressed his willingness to expand bilateral cooperation with China and better promote the development of Sino-Dutch relations.
Yu Bin, a member of Party Leadership Group of DRC, presided over the event. More than 140 representatives from different departments of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese government participated in the event.
