The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) invited Wang Qing, Deputy Director-General of the Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to give a lecture on current international situation and diplomacy with Chinese characteristics on July 20.

Yu Bin, a member of the Party Leadership Group of DRC, pointed out at the event that China is still at an important strategic opportunity stage, and the profound adjustment of the external environment has had a significant impact on China's economic and social development.
DRC researchers should analyze the problems and challenges brought by the complex international situation, provide suggestions to help decision-makers and illustrate government policies clearly to the public.

The lecture helped DRC staff learn more about the international situation and foreign policies. More than 100 researchers took part in the event.
