Abstract: The overall implementation of big data strategy is a major measure for China's high-quality economic development in the new era. China's digital economy is the world's second largest with the fastest growth, which has, however, brought about some data security challenges. In the big data industrial chain, storage is the foundation, and all other links need to be based on storage services. Storage security is the basic guarantee of data security. Data security must be stored safely first. Global data storage is becoming increasingly specialized. China has made breakthroughs in data storage technology, such as distributed storage and blue-ray storage, but still lags behind the world's leading enterprises as a whole, and faces deficiencies in data center coordination, storage technology innovation and low-carbon development of storage facilities. This paper suggests to improve the top-level design of data security storage; strengthen basic research and strive to address the bottlenecks issues relating to key and core technologies; accelerate technology iteration and promote the market application of China-made data storage equipment in an orderly manner; and launch the drive in cities for data security and low-carbon storage pilot practice.
