Abstract: The resilience of industrial supply chain refers to the safety, stability, embeddedness, shock resistance, restoring capacity and self-adaptability of the industrial supply chain in face of external shocks or major changes of the development environment. A relatively strong resilient industrial supply chain is the foundation of the resilience of national economy and the key to resisting risks. China’s manufacturing industry has already formed a resilient industrial supply chain across the board, but there are still some fragile issues remained to be addressed due to both exogenous factors and internal factors such as insufficient core technologies, structural conflicts, and periodic characteristics. We need to set out to foster a new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other. Based on such a strategy, we need to make efforts to enhance industrial supply chain’s capacity for independent controllability and its
digital and global organization and collaborative ability and strive to forge a safe and controllable, open and diverse, collaborative and efficient, innovative, resilient and competitive industrial supply chain.
Keywords: resilience of the industrial supply chain, new development pattern, independent and controllable, open-oriented cooperation
