Abstract: Regional collaborative innovation system is an important support and guarantee to promote regional high-quality development. Global regional collaborative innovation shows the following features: taking urban agglomeration as the main body, giving consideration to division of labor and cooperation, central cities playing a core role, and paying more attention to institutional framework and strategic planning coordination. The collaborative innovation system building in key city clusters of China has been sped up, and the pivotal role of core cities in global innovation network has become more evident. At the same time, the boundary barriers of regional collaborative innovation system need to be removed urgently. Homogenous competition remains in various forms. And both the sharing of regional innovation factors and resources and the services of cross-region technology trade market need to be improved. Therefore, we need to consolidate the idea of regional collaborative innovation, push forward the building of an open regional innovation system, flesh out the mechanism of regional innovation community, optimize the regional pattern of hi-tech industries, smooth channels for the cross-regional and cross-departmental flow of innovation factors and resources, and jointly build the high-quality regional innovation ecology, so as to accelerate the high-quality development of regional collaborative innovation.
