On December 28th, Mr. Zhang Yutai, President of DRC, met with Mr. Byong-Joon Kim, Chairman of Presidential Commission on Policy Planning, and his delegation from Republic of Korea. The two ministers exchanged their views on the issues regarding the economic cooperation between China, Japan and Korea as well as in Northeast Asia. President Zhang Yutai briefed on China’s macroeconomic policies and regional development, and had a discussion with the guests on issues of imbalanced development, polarization and agricultural sector, etc. Those attended the meeting included Dr. Zhang Xiaoji, Director-General of DRC’s Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director-General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, as well as Mr. Lee Kyun Dong, Minister Counselor of Korean Embassy in China.
