Xu Xiaoqing, director-general of the Research Department of Rural Economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), led a research group to the city of Huainan in Anhui province on July 20 and 21, with the aim of conducting studies on the rural operating organizations and operation system.

The research group conducted field studies in the Nongwang plant protection service cooperative, Huashan seed-breeding cooperative and Dianji village in Fengtai county, and they held discussions with local officials.
