Abstract:
The paper gives a detailed description of the Japanese calamity prevention and reduction system from the perspective of law, organization, planning and financial input, and makes a comparison between the Japanese system and the US system. On that basis, the paper makes a few proposals for building up China’s calamity prevention and reduction system.
