Abstract:

The American capital market is the biggest and the most active one in the world, with the greatest trading size and highest maturity degree. The US capital market had played a significant role in the development of the bio-industry. As the birthplace, the US bio-industry accounts for around 70% of the whole world today, therefore the financing of US bio-industry itself can tell the financing history of the world. This study covers financing of US bio-industry in terms of current situation, the features and a number of new financing approaches.
