Abstract:
Standardization serves as an important technological basis for the national economic and social development. Since the founding of New China and especially since the implementation of the policy of reform and opening-up, the management departments and management systems for standardization have undergone a number of adjustments, but the centralized management pattern formed over the past years has not been changed. Therefore, to make fundamental reforms to the present standardized management system has become rather imperative. The article makes an analysis of the present standardized management system in China, the reform process over the past few years and remaining issues and reasons in standardized management. It raises some suggestions regarding future reform for standardized management system.
