Abstract: With the advancement of regional integration, the uncertainty in any region may cause a “domino” effect in the entire regional economic network. Enhancing the “resilience” of regional development is a major way to improve regional risk response capacity and achieve high-quality development. In the course of regional integration, the widening of development gap, the functionalization and regionalization of industrial labor division between regions, and the mobile stratification and spacial mismatch of production factors are the major factors affecting the regional development resilience of China. Therefore, we need to adopt more effective region-oriented policies, promote the balanced spatial distribution of strategic products, and build a more resilient supply-china network. It is necessary for us to accelerate the building of an overall framework for regional development resilience assessment at the national level to identify potential risks in a timely and precise manner. Relevant regions need to make coordinated efforts to realize economic and institutional integration. And digital technologies need to be brought in to enhance the governance capacity of regional integration, so as to strengthen the resilience of regional development.
