The Department of International Cooperation  (Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) is responsible for  managing the DRC's international exchanges and cooperation; reviewing and processing applications for official overseas visits, visits by foreign guests, international conferences and international cooperation projects; promoting the implementation of multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms undertaken by the DRC; strengthening international communication; and coordinating exchanges and cooperation with the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region.
