The Department of Industrial Economy studies China's industrial development, with particular emphasis on industrial organization, structure and layout, low-carbon and digital transformation, industrial policy and industrial competitiveness. It also studies global industrial, supply and value chains, as well as advanced manufacturing, basic industries and strategic emerging industries, and puts forward corresponding policy advice and recommendations.
